Keep your shock working to its peak performance by giving it a little TLC!

After every ride, wipe down the stanchion tubes of your fork. On your rear shock, wipe down the entire shock. Never blast with water or use cleaning products. Just wipe it off with a rag to remove dirt and grime.
Most suspension companies suggest fluid changes and basic service at least annually. Check your owner's manual for routine service recommendations. Fox, for instance, suggests service every 30 hours on rear shocks, every 100 hours on most forks.
Bring your bike in to be sure your shock maintenance is done by a professional. And enjoy your suspension system as much today as the day you bought it!
