Swanton Loop: Coastal breeze, ocean views and few turns make Swanton a local favorite. Highway 1 makes up much of the route but Swanton road, just past Davenport, is a nice diversion with a steep climb at the end and a fun downhill as a reward. It's an out and back so riding partners can't get lost. An approximately 35 mile loop. Starting at Sprockets: R @ Trescony, L @ King St., R @ Mission/Hwy 1, R @ Swanton rd - We like to turn around at the top (white fence and farmhouse) and enjoy the low traffic downhill. Swanton does continue down to Highway 1 but the road is often rough with potholes.
