Waddell Creek Trail is a great novice mountain bike trail. It's a nice mix of fireroad and modest dual track with one short technical section. Be sure to bring a lock so you can take the 15 minute walk to berry creek falls.

From Santa Cruz: Take Highway 1 North  - 17 miles to Waddell Creek. If Driving park safely on right along road where you see the other cars. On bike turn R into Waddell Creek Park area. Follow signs for Skyline to the sea trail for bikes. Its Approx. 8 miles to the bike rack. Lock bike up and Hike the aprox. 1 mile trail to Berry Creek Falls. Return on the same route
